I miss you

This is one of my old poems, written in December 2010, I hope you enjoy reading it as I've enjoyed writing it.

I miss you like a desert misses the rain,
giving it life when it falls again.
I miss you like a flower misses the sun,
if it didn’t shine, the flower will be undone.
I miss you like an eye misses the light,
which shows it every beautiful sight.
I miss you like stars miss the moon,
for its rebirth in heavens waiting strewn.
I miss you like a paper misses the ink,
to write floating thoughts that never sink.
I miss you like a violin misses its strings,
together, playing music soaring without wings.
I miss you even more than all above,
although I know, I have no hope in your love.
